In 2016, Japan Food Safety Management Association (JFSM) has established JFS (Japan Food Safety)-C Certification Scheme and JFS-E-C Standard which are the food safety management system scheme and standard, intended for global diffusion, applicable to food business organizations (FBOs) in food manufacturing sector. 
As was announced by GFSI, JFS-C certification program (Sector: EIV) has successfully achieved recognition against GSFI Benchmarking Requirements Version 7.1. in October, 2018. After having satisfied all the GFSI benchmarking requirements, JFS-C certification program was placed on the table of the GFSI board, and the majority of the board voted in favor of recognition. 

In commemoration of this achievement, JFSM and Sompo Risk Management Inc. are pleased to invite you to the symposium in Bangkok to discuss the latest development of JFS Scheme & Standards in Thailand and their future outlook.  The symoposium is organized in line with the initiatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan.

The symposium will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, on Monday 11th March, 2019.  Registrations are free of charge, but places are limited to the first 50 guests.
